Without a doubt, the Worldcup mania has already consumed the minds and hearts of billions around the globe.
THE FADER is also obsessed and wants us to share this obsession with them. In order to do so they decided to focus on what they know best—music, art and culture.
Due to this, The FADER and Nike Sportswear came together to present a collaborative project, Pitch Perfect.
“Starting on June 1, 2010, and stretching over the next several weeks, they will give you new music from all over the world via continental mixtapes made by top selectors, limited edition screen-printed posters inspired by football’s global reach, and, best of all, a special documentary series filmed in South Africa by The FADER crew as football fans deluge the country. While they were there, Nike Sportswear and The FADER will present a live music event on June 16 at Nike’s brand new Football Training Center in Soweto, featuring artists from all over Africa, that will also be streamed live on nikesportswear.com and thefader.com/pitchperfect so that all those who couldn’t make it to South Africa can feel like they did.”

Stussy also joins in on the World Cup 2010 madness with a set of t-shirts.
They worked on both “World Tour” style shirts as well as more image oriented pieces. They will hit retailers May 29th.
Although our beloved captain, Michael Ballack cannot join the World Cup in South Africa, another BIG NAME took the opportunity and jumped on the Word Cup – train.
Undefeated has designed seven t-shirts featuring their Strikes logo, each bathed in a different countries flag.
